ISO and IAF have agreed that ISO 9001:2008 introduces no new requirements to ISO 9000:2000. The revised quality standard only introduces clarifications to the existing ISO 9001:2008 requirements, and changes to improve consistency with ISO 14001:2004, the environmental standard.
